About your hosts

We were both born and raised in Craiova, and we both work in IT. We know the city as locals do, so our recommendations come from our own experience. Happy Residence is our passion project: we wanted to do something beyond our day jobs and create a home away from home, where guests feel respected, cheerful, cared for and maybe even a little pampered.

It grew out of our travels and experiences as a family, our eye for detail and the professionalism we try to bring to everything we do. Our aim is to offer, and keep offering, a high standard of accommodation to every guest. It all comes down to our motto: feel at home, feel cared for.

That is why we designed everything so that you can check in on your own, at any hour: 24/7 self check-in, clear instructions with photos and maps, 2 parking spaces in the building. But we do not disappear once you have the code. We are close by, on WhatsApp or the phone, to solve any question quickly.

Before you arrive we send you a guide with recommendations for restaurants, shops and, in season, a route for the Christmas market. On arrival you will find water, sweets and a bottle of wine. None of this is obligatory, but we do it because we want you to feel expected.

We speak Romanian, English, French and Spanish. If you have a special request, from a cot to an earlier check-in, write to us and we will do our best.
